      Senior Technical Consultant Interview

      30 Sept 2012
      Anonymous employee
      San Mateo, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Appirio (San Mateo, CA) in Jun 2010

      Interview

Started out with phone screen by HR/Recruiter, followed by a few more phone interviews, a skills exercise in a Salesforce.com developer org (which it seemed that no one ever looked at or asked me anything about it), and then an invitation to an all-expenses paid on-site interview at their headquarters in San Mateo, CA. It was a pretty full day of in-person interview by various managers and consultants. The interview atmosphere was pretty casual and conversational, and really did a great job of selling me on the company and it's culture. A couple of follow-up phone interviews, and then I was given an offer to join the company!

      Question 1

Is the Salesforce.com/Force.com platform a "relational database"?
