I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arcesium (New Delhi) in May 2022
Interview
I got referred to this company through a consultancy. There were three rounds overall. The first one was a hackerrank test. It comprised of two questions with easy difficulty. Was able to successfully submit both the questions with optimised code within stipulated time. Moved to the next round which was a virtual coding round interview. The interviewer asked to solve a problem. Was able to solve the problem (with some help from the interviewer at last). Was moved to the third round which was HLD round to design a system. Was able to put forward my ideas and the interview at that point in time seemed to be satisfactory for me atleast.
All this process happened one month back. And thereafter the HR of the company and consultancy person who was representing me have ghosted me. Tried reaching out with a couple of mails, but no response.
Atleast make sure to rely back with feedback and any other concerns like position has been closed or something. This gives enough satisfaction and honest feedbacks are very important for one to grow with a positive mindset.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Arcesium (Bengaluru) in Jun 2026
Interview
Interview process was initially smooth, but the candidate experience afterward was disappointing. After completing the interviews, I repeatedly reached out for feedback and status updates through email and phone calls. Unfortunately, I did not receive any response, and calls were not returned.
I understand that hiring teams can be busy and that not every candidate can be selected, but timely communication and basic closure are important. Even a brief update would have been appreciated. The lack of responsiveness left a negative impression of the overall hiring process.
I hope the company improves its candidate communication and feedback process in the future.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Arcesium (Bengaluru) in Sept 2024
Interview
This was the first of 4 rounds of interviews. It was supposed to be a coding round focusing on the skills required for the role instead of leetcode problems or algorithmic puzzles.
Surprisingly , the interview questions were more focused on tricking the candidate with edge cases rather than evaluating practical understanding of JavaScript. These kind of "gotcha" questions often don't reflect real-world coding tasks or assess any ability to solve meaningful problems. This seemed to be an isolated interviewer problem though. Many tech companies are shifting towards interviews that focus on actual problem-solving and collaboration.
