I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Array (NY) in Aug 2022
Interview
- automated email with multiple choice coding questions (time limit 1 hour, but it took 5-10 minutes to complete) & a CCAT/personality quiz (time limit 15 minutes)
- 1 week later a recruiter followed up to set up an intro call
- Hiring manager interview (30 min)
- Take home code test (5-6 hours)
- Panel interviews: system design (30 min) and behavior/culture fit (30 min)
- another CCAT-style personality/emotional intelligence assessment
There were a lot of steps, but my recruiter was very helpful throughout the process with letting me know what to expect. Scheduling was very fast, many of the interviews were within the same week. I received an offer 2 days after the final panel interviews.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Array (NY) (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2024
Interview
Don't waste your time applying to work here. Similar to other reviews you'll read below, they immediately followed up the application with an automated email to take some nonsensical "CCAT & Emotify assessments". I doubt any job really even exists. They're just wasting your time and collecting data.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Array (NY) (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2022
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. After getting back to them it took a few days to get an answer and I got a Cognitive and a CodeSignal test.
I took the Cognitive test twice, it is not possible to answer the 50 questions in 15 minutes, I haven't done one of those for a tech company before, it was a waste of time, they tell you that there are no wrong answers, that it is something just to knowing you more.
The code signal was JS and database and wasn't that hard, it was a bullet point single or multiple answers test.
They ghosted me after taking the second cognitive test, it was a waste of time, to be honest, the process seemed to be long and they said you have to do a small project, which will be probably a lot of time you will have to spend doing it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
A cognitive test and some questions about promises, settimeout, and the output of the code on some scenarios.
