I was really excited when I was offered an interview at ACV. However, when I arrived I was greeted by staff with less-than-ethused attitudes. They have you complete a technician skill quiz, which I think is great and weeds out inexperienced techs. The lead technician who was conducting the interview was attentive and nice, but when taking me around outpatient, not a single technician (maybe about 10-12 people) greeted me or acknowledged me. This immediately turned me off. You want to feel welcomed at a practice when interviewing, and ACV gave the opposite. I briefly spoke with the owner who did not get up from his chair to have a conversation.
I was offered a position at a less than desired hourly rate, and ultimately I declined and accepted at another local practice. I would suggest that the staff at ACV make a marked effort to help potential employees feel welcomed while interviewing.
