The interview process at Artsy is professional and very efficient. Also quite thorough. A series of 4/5 interviews in total over the course of 2 weeks. Plenty of room to learn more about the role.
- Tell me a time when you had to deal with a challenge and how did you overcome it.

Wonderful experience. I applied online and had a screening call with a recruiter who was very friendly and really took the time to answer all of my questions. The next round was a meeting with the hiring manager, after that I met with 3 cross-functional partners. Everyone came prepared with specific questions and gave me a very good sense of the teams I would be working with. Recruiting was in touch within a day or two of each round and gave me a guide with details on each round and tips for how to prepare. They gave me feedback as to why they did not move forward and it made a lot of sense - I understand their decision and had a great experience. This company puts a lot of thought into their interview process and really makes an effort to make the candidate experience a positive one. I recommend applying.
- Why Artsy? What experience do you have with complex commercial contracts? Tell me about a mistake you made and how you handled it.

They were nice people, I thought it was an overall good interview. I would have accepted the offer if I had been given the oppertunity, but I did not receive one.
- What are you passions and how did you hear about Artsy?

Just met with a member of the HR team. While I gained insight to the company's new initiatives, it felt a bit cold and removed. I didn't learn as much about the company as I had hoped I would have.
- Could you please tell us about yourself?

Anonymous Interview Candidate

asking about past related experience, and then giving some basic information about the company, talking about the position, responsibility, and some future projects, walking through the portfolio, and lastly Q&A section
- describe your design process where do you get your inspiration from

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Artsy (New York, NY) in May 2022
I had an initial interview with a talent acquisition manager which went well, subsequently, a follow-up interview with an HR rep more directly related to the job was scheduled, and there were talks for follow-up interviews with three other senior employees. However, after a lack of contact over a week, I was suddenly told I had been rejected due to a change in the role's level.
- What is your past experience? Why are you interested in this position? Where do you see yourself in five years? What would keep you interested in this position?

The interview process was straightforward, and they even gave me feedback post-interview. It all made sense from a candidate's perspective. I do not have anything negative to say about the company.
- Why do you see yourself as a good fit for the role?

Garbage people, the interviewer showed up 15 minutes late then asked to reschedule. Never received an additional follow-up. Highly unprofessional. Would not recommend, go to another company that cares to show up to interviews.
- Sorry i'm late, can we reschedule?

Anonymous Employee in Berlin
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Artsy (Berlin) in Mar 2022
The process was very dynamic, I had several interviews with different people and also did some tasks & mock interview. A fairly short process, very efficient and in which I was able to be in contact with all the relevant people that this position would have to work with. This gave me a clear idea of the role, and what the Artsy team is like. Overall, I was very happy with the process and how it was handled by the HR team. Very professional.
- Among many things, they asked me about my sales experience, how I deal with certain specific situations, and how my profile would be the ideal fit for the company.

This was the best interview process I've ever had! All interviews were done over zoom. It started with a 30 minute interview with someone from HR followed by a short accounting exercise that I did on my own time. Then I spoke to who would be my direct supervisor a few days later for another 30 minute interview. The last part was a day of about 4 30 minute interviews with another HR person and 3 members of my potential team. Then I was given an offer a couple days after that!
- What management style do you prefer in your supervisor? Tell me about a time you made a mistake at work and how you dealt with it. Etc.
