Started with an HR person calling me and asking basic questions on SQL joins. After submitting my answers to the hiring managers I got a call that I was selected for the next round to talk to the hiring manager. I had 1-hour call with the hiring manager who went through my resume line by line and asked me a good amount of questions and gave a good feedback. After 2 days I got the reply from HR saying we had a positive feedback and we would like you to talk to several other team members. I had a total of 6 team members who were scheduled to talk to me for 45 mins each. All the interviews went pretty smooth and basic behavioural questions were asked and I got good feedback from few interviewers. The final round scheduled was with a solution architect who asked me few basic SQL questions and called another person to test my skills, This person had no clue on what position I was being hired for or without even looking at my resume started asking me DBA questions which I had no clue and nowhere in my resume I mentioned I had worked on the questions he asked me.
overall it was a long tiring interview process.
I never would have had a negative experience if there was a proper closure from the hiring manager or the Hr saying you are not fit for this job or we hired someone better.
The Saddest part was even after many follow-up emails, I did not receive a single reply from anyone.
Kindly give a closure it will not take much of anyone's time.
