I applied through other source. I interviewed at Atlassian in May 2020
Interview
Phone interview + 5 rounds of virtual on-site(2 coding + 1 value + 1 design + 1 Hiring Manager)
The questions are easy to medium level, what struck me was that after spending a whole day with their engineers, they sent a template rejection email without even modifying the customized part(My employer was not "XXX company" :) ).
BTW they sent the template after 1 week without any notice between, they said they will contact me in a day or two, I also sent 2 emails to appreciates their effort and asked a follow-up, it seems that their hiring team doesn't understand what is so-called curtesy. If you can not make it, at least you can send an email to notify candidate. Will you promise something to your customer like this? Is this the way your company shows your value? NO BS?
And ironically, they sent a questionnaire to collect data about hiring democracy.
I finally understand one-word "Corporate".
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
2 easy-medium LC questions.
And 1 system design, maybe failed at this round.
Recruiter reached out to me then ghosted in the middle of trying to set up a meeting. Very disrespectful of my time. Just as well, how a company treats candidates is usually a good indicator of how they treat employees
Didnt get past OA, heard now has ai process. People are good but company is going downhill. Unfortunate for all good culture fits there s a lack of opportunity admist apex reviews to produce meaningful work.
Nice interviewer but i did not get an offer. good experience anyway i think.
I have heard good things about the company culture so i think it would be a good place to work
