I applied online. I interviewed at Atlassian in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process was a bit complex and had multiple rounds.
1. HR Call.
2. Hiring Manager Round.
3. Product Demo call.
4. Technical Interview.
5. Behaviorial Interview
The questions were not that difficult but I had a very bad experience with the hiring process. Initially, everything went well and I was able to reach the final round. After that one random day, the HR calls me and asks me why about scripting. I said, I know basics to which she said you said no during the interview, why? Then she said, we'll get back to you soon.
After that, I had to do multiple follow-ups, to which I was responded that the profile was put on hold. After multiple follow-ups I wrote back to the HR, asking for the update or at least a feedback. To which they sent me an automated rejection email with no feedback in it.
Really disappointed with the hiring process. They should at least be in touch with the candidate and respond. They didn't even bother to respond with feedback, just sent an automated email after one month of the process.

Question 1
The interview questions were easy to answer and the product demo was good. They ask you more about your current role with how you troubleshoot.

What are Rest API and explain different http response code
Good and fast process. Not very difficult, they offered more money in the end. This was a few years ago so maybe things have changed somewhat. Nothing to complain about
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian in May 2024
Interview
The hiring staff was pretty proactive.
Keep track of every steps and giving possible feedbacks
However, got rejected after step before the last one because they accept internal transfer candidate. Which made me feel a bit of wasting of time..
