I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Atlassian
Interview
I applied via a recruiter. They scheduled the interview after reviewing my portfolio. Three people were on the video line to evaluate me. After I finished my introduction, they clearly explained how they planned to use the 60 minutes.
They requested a complete work project user interaction walkthrough, which was not requested prior to the interview and was not mentioned in the job description. They only scheduled the interview after I shared my portfolio. My question is, what did you observe in the portfolio? In the middle of the interview, they asked me, "How can we assess you without a full project clickable walkthrough?"
If the interview panel members are unable to evaluate the candidate's within the timeframe specified in the interview slot, then please modify the interview format and prepare for it.
Best wishes for your candidate search.
