      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian (Sydney) in Sept 2022

      Interview

Went through a 4 round interview process for their campus recruiter role. Was super stoked to interview for this position as it is a dream of mine to run their campus recruitment program. Even though I got a rough sense of what the interview feedback was like on Glassdoor (that feeling that the recruitment process is a joke a lot of the time and candidates are left in the dark or not treated well) I still went through the loop. First interview went super well (basics), second interview was ok (interviewer went ham on behavioural qs and even warned me twice out of the 7-8 questions that the question she was going to ask was hard), third and final interview (values/management) went super well. Didn't get the job but got told they were going through back end to get approval for an additional spot potentially and that I shouldn't give up hope yet (if this is ever the case for anyone, most likely they are dangling false hope in front of your face just to make it feel like you did well). Got a random add from the man himself who heads up the early careers team a few weeks later just for him to message me 'you were one of the strong candidates and gutted we couldn't take you on as you were second best'. Not sure if that in anyway felt like rubbing salt into an open wound but looking at their early careers team in Aus and seeing it be an all female team (besides the boss himself) with the new additions also continuing this trend, it was an adequate conclusion that I should've never applied in the first place even though there was a lot of emphasis on diversity in my interviews.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you promote diversity into some of the new events we wish to promote on campus?

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Atlassian (London, England) in Aug 2022

      Interview

I interviewed for the role of Senior Campus Recruiter which consisted of six interviews over a nine-week period. I was delighted to receive an email last Thursday that I had been selected for the position. However, the excitement soon turned into complete disappointment when during the offer call, I was told the position was lowered to 'Campus Recruiter' based on my most recent experience (six months in a large company with a narrow job scope; hence my motivation for applying). A long, drawn-out process with poor communication in between. I can't help but feel I dodged a bullet with this one!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

A mixture of behavioural and situational judgement questions, including a values interview (ironic).
