The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atlassian in Sept 2023
Interview
I applied via Atlassian website for multiple role. After getting rejection mails for couple of openings, I did get call for this particular role.
There were total 7 interviews. 4 technical and 3 non-tech.
1. A Karat interview. Screening round. Checking out your tech skills. Atlassian gives you two attempts to clear this round.
2. Browser coding. Asked to create a small app/component and the output should be visible and interactive on browser. With follow up questions.
3. JS coding. This is more of problem solving. You may use vanilla JS or any other framework/library you prefer. It is recommended to use vanilla JS though.
4. System design. I was asked to create an HLD for an application.
5. Values interview. This was non-tech. Checking your fit with Atlassian's values.
6. Hiring Manager. This was to judge you overall, your learnings and experience.
7. HR and offer discussion.
The recruiters and interviewers were all very helpful and cooperative. Sessions were interactive.
