I applied to the position online and heard back approximately two weeks later. I first interviewed with the COO, and it was a good experience (no technical questions, more like an informal chat). I then had a technical interview with the senior data scientist. The questions were common machine/deep learning interview questions. I was then invited to the last round of interviews which consisted of a meeting with the CEO, a showcase of their product, and a research presentation with everyone in the company. That is when my perspective of the company completely changed. The CEO is arrogant and disrespectful. I knew immediately that he did not like me as he was condescending toward me. The most bizarre aspect is that he had an intern asking me questions and telling me how great he was compared to me (someone with a Ph.D.). I knew I would not receive an offer as soon as I transitioned to the research presentation part of the interview, and the CEO did not show up (he said he would be there at the beginning of our conversation). The presentation went smoothly, and the questions were all about the research topic.
