I applied in-person. I interviewed at BLICK Art Materials (New York, NY) in Jun 2022
Interview
It was relaxed friendly atmosphere. Had two people, manager and store manager interviewed me. As it was about 10 yrs ago, I do not remember the details, but I remember talking about my art background and knowledge.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BLICK Art Materials (Portland, OR) in Feb 2023
Interview
They have the job ad online in perpetuity: you apply and then find out that they aren't hiring. Why must companies waste peoples' time like this? It's just a minimum wage retail job!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Me: Are you actively hiring? I sent in an application last week, answering the ad. Them: No, we just collect applications, maybe in six months.
The interview process felt very genuine and conducted in a very casual and engaging way, I didn't feel pressured or nervous to really be honest in my intentions with having the job.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BLICK Art Materials (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022
Interview
I had a phone interview last week and now I am waiting for a second in-person interview. I interviewed on the phone with the assistant manager, and it lasted for about forty-five minutes.
