I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at BUZZ (NJ) (Woodbridge, NJ) in Sept 2019

I was contacted by an HR employee that my resume was appealing and that I could be a great fit for a Sports Marketing Manager. I was contacted for an interview and came in to a building that was being renovated. The office was a decent place, seemed lively. I show up at 11:20 for an 11:30 interview and next thing I know it's 12:15. This was the first red flag. Finally the so called "CEO" (Tofiq) is ready to interview me. The interview went well, standard questions, until the end where I was asked to come in for a follow up interview the follow day. This was a Friday so coming in on Saturday was another red flag, but I was optimistic so I came in. The other candidate for the position was there and we were handed over to a junior employee and another employee under them to take us to their point of sale. Many other young employees were there with huge portfolios to take to their destinations. I was told I need to learn how sales are done before I get the job. I was then told I would be asked questions on our to our sale destination which was 45 mins away. MULTIPLE times I say where are we going and they refused to answer. RED FLAG 3. Our destination was a Walmart in Jersey City, selling Comcast Cable boxes to low-income consumers. It was explained to me that we could leave when they sold all their vouchers, which they estimated would take until 5pm, it was 12:30 when I heard this news. I called an Uber ASAP to get back to my car, 45 mins away. When I got back the doors to the building were locked.
This lack of transparency is unacceptable from any company.
Stay FAR AWAY from this company and ones like it!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is something that you are looking to improve on?
The office looks like it was just set up the day before and ready to take down at a moment's notice. The interview was very short and unspecific about what the role was. They claimed to have large clients in telecommunications and the Yankees, but obviously not out of that empty office.
