I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Backbase in Apr 2021
Interview
Interview took more rounds like it is in many similar companies now-a-days. It has been a combination of expectations & introduction from both sides as well as proof of the skills needed for the position.

Q: Present one of your past project experiences with the achievements that you managed and the challenges you needed to solve and how you solved them.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Backbase in Apr 2022
Interview
The process is very thorough and is covered by 3 stages. The first 2 are standard interview formats, one technical and one non-technical, then the 3rd is a case presentation of a solution delivered recently. I think it's good to have such a process as it ensures both sides are happy that the role is suitable.

Question 1
Describe how I would liaise with a client to inform them of a better approach to the one they are currently intending to use.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Backbase
Interview
The interview process was adapted very well to a COVID world where all interactions needed to be remote. Good use was made of the tooling and the series of interviews was very logical. There was an initial 30 minute technical interview with an SME in a similar job role to the one being applied for. This was followed by an interview with a Director to understand the wider skill set and team fit. The third and final session was a presentation on a project with a panel assessing the content and delivery, and acting as the client.
