    Everything promised, has been delivered.

I guess it just sounded too good to be true. I still feel like I'm being punked at how we run the process and job is going.

    Advice to Management

    Honestly, I wouldn't change a thing.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Backbase in December 2018.

Summary: Good hiring process but very poor feedback in the end

I applied online for Amsterdam location, currently working in Singapore.
They got back to me after a long time, about 1 and a half month.

First round: Technical screening with tech recruiter.
We discussed about the company, work, roles and responsibilities.
The role required 30%-50% travelling for which I gave my full approval to the recruiter, went well and moved to 2nd round

Second round: Take home coding assignment which was pretty good to judge one's coding skills

Third round: Discussion with one of an iOS Engineer about the coding assignment, what can be improved, why did I choose certain approach/technique etc and some iOS technical questions.
This round was really good in terms of knowing more about how it will be working with your potential colleague.

Fourth round: With head of engineering, which went really well according to me.
It was more focused on to cultural fit and knowing more about your motivation and goals.

Then comes the last email from recruiter saying hiring manager thinks that I (Being an Indian working in Singapore) will not be able to move to Amsterdam from Singapore and will also not be able to commit to travelling required due to work.

I totally disagree with that because I was already aware of it from the very first round and also said I neither have problem moving there nor travelling due to work but they have already made their decision.

Very unprofessional behaviour from them and no candidate could buy this reason having reached in the final state of the interview process.

Please don't waste somebody's time despite knowing every details about their background and also dont give any random reason for rejection
