Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Focus was on leadership experience and managing underperformance.
The interview process involved two rounds. I had a positive first interview—it was a pleasant conversation, and shortly after, the HR representative informed me that I had passed and was moving on to the second round. I was also told that I was the only candidate who passed the first interview, which made me feel hopeful.
After that, I was asked to complete a three-hour assessment, which included mathematics, logic, and behavioural components. I completed it as required. I was then scheduled for the second interview.
However, after the second interview, I was ghosted for many days. Eventually, the HR person got back to me saying I was unsuccessful, but they didn’t provide any meaningful feedback.
Overall, the communication and the way they handled the process—especially for someone who was told they were the only one progressing—was very disappointing. The lengthy assessment also felt like a waste of time, especially given the lack of transparency and follow-up.
Interview process involves screening, assessments, and meetings to evaluate a candidate’s skills, experience, and cultural fit. It includes phone screenings, technical tests, and panel interviews before a final decision is made.
