I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bank of America (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2013
Interview
I was hired thru job placement from JVSBankWork$, and found myself having an interview 2 days after completion of the program. Met with branch manager, friendly and upfront. They go down to the basics, asking about work experience, goals in my career, my ability to adapt to daily changes. It was more of a introduction to my first day more than a interview. So just know once you called for a interview, you are already closer to the job than you think. So go in there, don't hold back on your thoughts, and be honest and sincere, but remind yourself of the strength you put into work previously, or life experiences. Be able to prove how much they gain from you than lose. Good luck.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bank of America (Wheaton, MD)
Interview
The first conversation was over the phone with the recruiter. Then they connected me with a branch manager for an in person interview. I had a third interview at another location an then got the job offer.
It was short. I did a phone interview and the. I did an in-person interview. It was short. Phone then in person. It was short. First phone, then in person.
The interview was very straightforward and simple, they didn’t ask too many unusual questions and the questions they did ask were easy to answer. The total time was less than an hour, and I was able to make another appointment by the end of the workday.
