Most of the hiring happens internally from people working in other groups, contractors becoming full time etc. They will concentrate on technical skills as per the requirement and your experience if hiring from outside. Questions mostly depend on the person taking the interview. Some just look for prior project experience, scenarios you've encountered etc.
