I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (Menlo Park, CA) in Aug 2009
Interview
Nearly impossible to get a full-time offer without having completed an internship in the prior summer. Office will first try to hire from their own intern class, then seek summer interns from other banking internship programs, all before they look back at schools or other individuals. The interviews themselves were very qualitative. Only associates asked more technical questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Honestly the most difficult question I was asked was what would happen to cash flow if my accounts receivables rise
Video Interview includes 12 questions. I think the most difficult part about the interview process is that you only have 2 mins maximum for each question asked, and you can not record it again.I believe you can do it better by just relaxing and prepare some basic answers for the video.
I applied online. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY)
Interview
Phone screening, then in person interview. I spoke with the HR recruiter and she liked my background so i was called in to interview with 3 people. One of the people cancelled so i met with two. One director and one lower level employee.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Barclays (New York, NY) in Aug 2013
Interview
Direct and very friendly. It was an initial phone call with more junior people then a in person interview with a bunch of senior people, including potential boss. It was friendly but very intense, since it was for one spot only.
