In mijn geval heb ik de recruiter stap overgeslagen en gelijk een gesprek met de consultant en manager gehad. Dit gesprek was redelijk informeel en ik ben gelijk een stageplek aangeboden.

It started with a get to know conversation with a general manager. There are made a few assumptions made based on your resume. The GM tries to get confirmations about his pre-made assumptions about you and your work experience in a relatively short time. In a typical Dutch and candid way he/she tries to only focus on skills (which are not mentioned in the job description) which might not have or have 50/50. The so called quasi not standing out skills become then the KO criteria and are used as an excuse not to continue the hiring process or further talks. I consider Berenschot as a very conservative boutique consultancy company compared to competitors in the Dutch business advising consultancy market.
