The group follows the brokerage Career Visioning steps for teams which includes an initial phone screening, KW personality assessment (KPA), in-person interview to go over personality results and do a verification as the first initial steps. They requested I complete a DISC personality assessment on paper (no digital format offered) the day of interview to be completed prior to interview time which was inconvenient timing since I had offered to complete any other items that where needed for interview several days prior.
Communication was poor throughout initial process with questions being unanswered during both phone screening as well as email inquiries. Was concerned team / income was not a fit before in-person interview but was encouraged to take the personality assessments and move through process. Was provided some of the results of the personality assessment verbally but denied a written copy of the results after the interview was completed. Initially said they would provide a copy of the assessment then said it wasn't company policy which was interesting since I had received copies of my KPAs from other teams within the brokerage.
The ISA position base pay was below local and nationally averages by a huge gap and should have been advertised as a contractor position rather than an employee position. It was clear to me as an applicant, the team did not see a value to the ISA role.
