I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (Vancouver, BC)

      Interview

The interview process was well-structured and took about three weeks from start to finish. It began with an initial screening interview where they asked standard background and experience questions. The second round was a case presentation, which I had prepared in advance. During this session, I presented to two senior analysts and two managers. They asked thoughtful follow-up questions, mainly focused on how the project was initiated, the process I followed, and the impact of the results. After that, the analysts asked technical questions covering a broad range of topics, including SQL, A/B testing, and some machine learning concepts. Overall, the atmosphere was friendly and professional. The final round was a behavioral interview with two managers, focusing on typical behavioral questions and past experiences.

      Interview

I was initially contacted by a recruiter who introduced me to the opportunity, I progressed to the first round of interviews, where I engaged in discussion about my background, experiences, and the potential fit for the role. I was tasked with a take-home test centered around forecasting sales based on provided estimates. The subsequent round involved a group roundtable interview, where I had the opportunity to interact directly with the hiring manager and two other analysts within the organization. Following the group interview, I got an offer from the company.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Minneapolis, MN) in Nov 2017

      Interview

I applied online and first interview was with a HR . He asked normal questions related to my previous work experience. Next Interview was a video round with hiring manager . He just went through my resume and asked few basic questions. For the final round I was flown to their HQ in MN where I met with the hiring manager and 2 other senior leaders. They all asked basic behavioral questions NOTHING technical at all. I talked about my projects and previous work experiences. Everything went smoothly . They told me that they are interviewing few more candidates. I was the first one. I wasn't asked a single technical question. I think they mostly looked into the resume and made their decision. Their whole procedure was weird. I talked with couple of other people about this company. Everyone told me that their hiring criteria is so weird. The wages are on the lower side of the market rates.
