I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Memphis, TN) in Nov 2012
Interview
I don't agree with scripted interviews. It takes away from allowing the candidate to be creative with his or her answers. The company uses a script to utilize the interview. The same script is used in 1 and 2nd interviews. This also coincides with the script that the company expects to land when the associates are on the floor selling. Everything has become a script instead of helping the associates learn and mold their strengths in selling skills.

Few questions asked mainly wants know if you are able to sell products while practicing their values. First interview is with the team lead or supervisor and then usually a second interview with the assistant manager or general manager.
Pretty typical interview questions. Show a lot of leadership potential and willingness to learn and lead others. Dress to impress and if applying from within the company, know your metrics.
