I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Best Buy (Bradley, IL) in Sept 2014
Interview
Very fast and easy. I was also told if I got the job right away on my 2nd interview. The interview is like a 3 step process. You have to apply online and few days later you will get a call about your first interview. Your first interview is normally with the supervisor of the position. Then you will get a 2nd interview will be with the general manager.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Hartford, CT) in Dec 2019
Interview
Very Straightforward. I found it to be less intimidating than most other interviews I have been on. Be prepared to answer some basic questions about honesty and your tolerance for breaking the rules. Spoiler alert: There can be no tolerance for breaking rules or dishonesty in this position.
