I was referred to the position by a friend and was immediately contacted by the recruiter later that day. The recruiter was very kind, and I had a great phone screen with her. Next, was an interview via Hangouts for the role (part of the team is in New York) where you present your portfolio. I have limited product experience, and come from a marketing background, so they decided to move forward with a different candidate.
