I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boots (Manchester, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
Really simple online application form followed by an online questionnaire (customer service type & your personality in the work place - I answered very consistently) and then I was emailed to choose an interview time. The interview was quite informal and felt like more of a chat- only about 10 minutes total. I was asked why boots and about previous relevant experience, then 3 further competency type questions. I was offered the job at the end of the interview.
Tell me about a time you found yourself in a challenging situation, how you overcame this by looking up how to deal with the situation. (Something like this...it was a long and confusing question!)

Interview
The process was fairly informal and friendly. I was just asked a few basic questions, followed by a simple exercise on the shop floor handing out samples to customers in the store.
