I applied online. I interviewed at Boots (Hexham, England) in Jun 2017
Interview
I applied online and filled out a questionnaire before being invited for an interview. The interviewer was very nice and friendly and the interview itself was extremely informal. I had done some research about Boots to prepare although wasn't actually asked any questions like "why do you want to work for Boots", it was mostly about my past experience. I was the only person who had taken in the correct paperwork and a CV (which I was told was a bonus) and was pretty much told I should get a phone call on the Monday - my interview was a Thursday. 10 days after Monday I received an automated email telling me I had been unsuccessful.
I interviewed at Boots (Belfast, Northern Ireland)
Interview
One very informal interview where I was just asked about experience and why I wanted the role. There was just one stage of interview face to face and I found out a couple of days later I got the offer.
I had the interview in the manager's office. I was asked various questions related to the job at hand.
It was a really nice experience though i didn't get the job at the end haha.

Question 1
What work experiences do you have that would help you?
I applied online and got offered a face to face interview shortly after. I did lots of interview prep and researched the company and when I got to the interview it was completely unprofessional. The manager did not ask me any interview questions and said 'those are a load of rubbish' and it was basically a personality contest.
