I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bridgewater Associates (Bridgeport, CT) in Apr 2016
Interview
I sent my resume in through someone. Had a phone interview first in which I explained my analysis and thought process on a data-related problem they gave me. It went well and I went on-site. It was a good on-site interview and they were very nice and supportive.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They gave me a simple data problem and asked me how I thought about the data. In the on-site, it was all about introducing the company and asking about my background.
Hr email reach out then phone screen, 1 week later hiring manager online interview. Pulled out a spreadsheet asking marginal utility type questions. Nothing like other companies on the street.
