I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Brilliant (CA) in May 2025
Interview
Wow, so first off it was the recruiter (who didn't answer any of my questions about what the process is going to be like/what can I expect on the next meeting/discussion topics - just totally ghosted lol). But after meeting with the recruiter, it was the person I'd be working under (Women of course once again) and it was a list of random questions. Then a take home quiz (says dont spend more than 2 hours on it, super easy assignment you can just put it all into chatgpt). Then you meet with the VP (again, this is women owned and this was a women once again). I was told this was going to be a whole hour and again wasnt told any discussion topics or anything at all from the recruiter who ghosted when asked but the VP says it was only going to be 30 minutes and it was the easiest 2-3 questions ever that I wasnt prepared for of course, I was under the impression it was going to be more of a technical/test/live position questions but it was more macro. Oh well - a month oppertunity cost wasted and at the end fo the day I realized I probably didnt want to work for such a women-dominated company anyways... really says a lot about the company as a whole especially when considering the business model. Also, be aware of the whole "we are bootstrapped!" why do they need to say that -- do your DD they've had issues in the past with money. Like most women haha jk
It was ok. Interviewer asked a standard question and didn't feel like they wanted to work through it. Not a great experience and not sure how morale is. Interviewer didn't care about my profile either.

It started with a phone screen. Then there was a 1 on 1 interview with a junior to mid-level engineer. Then I proceeded to the final rounds where 2-3 different people interviewed me. The last round was speaking to the exec members of the company.
