I applied to Brooksource through LinkedIn and I was contacted by a recruiter the next day which I greatly appreciated considering I have some applications from August that I still haven't heard back from. The position was for a Junior Java Developer position at a Fortune 500 company in Marietta, GA. They first started with a few phone screenings with trivial Java and Computer Science questions including the principles of OOP, Java garbage collection, and some SQL based questions to understand my technical background. There was then an in-person interview at Brooksource's office in Atlanta where the recruiter went more into depth the interview process with their client and asked a few more questions related to my technical and educational background. Lastly, an onsite interview was arranged at their client's offices in Marietta where I was to interview with their hiring manager and two senior software engineers. Before the interview, Brooksource provided me with interview resources and prep that would help me with the client's interview which was greatly appreciated. On the day of the interview, I arrived on site and was escorted by one of Brooksource's recruiters to the client's offices to be interviewed. Unfortunately, the hiring manager was stuck in meetings and was not able to meet with me and so I interviewed with the senior software engineers instead. The engineers asked me questions relating to my resume and technical background and gave me a fairly trivial whiteboarding question. I was then allowed to ask questions about the company and left feeling good. Unfortunately, I was not given an offer due to budgeting reasons from the client as reported by Brooksource. The recruiter then asked if she could spread my resume around to other teams at the client which I accepted. This process began on December 6th, my in-person interview was on December 11th, my onsite interview was on December 16th, and I had back from the Brooksource recruiter January 2nd. Overall, I had a very good interviewing experience with both companies and was quite disappointed that I was unable to join the client's company.

The interview process will vary because you interview with a Brooksource recruiter, then interview with whatever employer they are contracting you to. I had a phone screen with my recruiter, followed by a simple experience interview with that same recruiter, and finally a short behavioral and technical interview with the manager of the place I would be contracting at.
