While the interview process was fairly informal, it was thorough.
From the jump, it was immensely clear that every professional at Browning, from senior leadership to mid-level managers and junior staff, is competent, experienced, and driven.
The interviews, both virtual and in-person, were conducted over a period of many weeks. And in each conversation, I could tell that Browning had a strong understanding of its capabilities and an exact appraisal of its needs. They take hiring and staffing seriously, which I found most refreshing and encouraging. Browning knows what skills and qualities they are looking for in a colleague, teammate, mentor, and pupil -- and they set a high standard.
My experience with Browning was delightful. And my ultimate decision to turn down their plainly competitive offer was not an easy one to make. Their work is important and exciting. And the collegiality of their international team was very apparent.
