I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burberry (Miami, FL) in Oct 2013
Interview
General questions about experience. This company pays women less so if you're a woman, ask for more money upfront. They lowball all female staff in the florida market. You will interview with assistant manager, general manager and then market manager. The company acts very serious about the process but in reality they're mostly looking for someone who will do managements job for pay as a sales.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Burberry (New York, NY) in Sept 2021
Interview
Very transparent from the beginning. I did 4 interviews. One with the general manager, regional director, and one with both the department manager and client engagement manager. The first two were through zoom and finally one in store interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Burberry (New York, NY) in May 2018
Interview
The first interview was with the GM, the second one was with the Market Director. I was asked a series of questions each time, mostly based on skill review, customer service situations, past experiences with difficult personalities, and how to problem solve.

Question 1
Why do you want a job in fashion? What trends are following for this coming season?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Burberry
Interview
I applied online about 6 months prior to being contacted, I did a first interview with an assistant manager in the store and he asked me to set up a second interview. I interviewed with the District Manager about a week later, as the store didnt currently have a store manager. The district manager was very condescending in the interview process. It was understood that I had no clothing sales experience going in, and she talked down to me during the interview when it came to not having the clothing experience. Throughout the interview she essentially talked to me like I had no business being in front of her. I walked in to the interview excited about the opportunity, as the assistant manager I had spoken with was great. I left the interview feeling that if they had offered me the job, I wasnt sure I would take it. Disheartening for such a well known company.
