The interview process took about 6 weeks. During those six weeks, I:
-answered an extended email questionnaire from HR about my interest in the job
-interviewed with HR
-was asked to fill out a 2 hour personality test
-interviewed with an Art Director and other Designer
-interviewed with other Marketing Employees
-was asked to design 7 Carousel Slides as a final design test
I was really surprised by how many steps there were. The job only paid $65K. In my entire design career, I've always never been asked to complete a multi-part design test for free. It rubbed me the wrong way, personally.
In the end, it took an additional two weeks to hear back that I did not get the job, and the message I did receive was a generic rejection letter.
Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, but I found this interviewing process to be needlessly long, grating, and a little exploitative for the pay grade. Your mileage may vary.
