The whole hiring process is so messed up. I got my interview postponed many times which I'm okay with it at first because I think it's a great opportunity if I get a chance to work here. But then the hiring manager cancelled the interview at the last minute and the HR informed me 15 minutes right before the actual interview time. This whole thing really leave me a negetive impression and indicate that the whole hiring process is so unprofessional.

The question is mostly about the role, your work experience, current social media trends
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at ByteDance (Mumbai) in Feb 2019
Interview
Was interviewed for English and a couple of Regional languages (Hindi and Marathi)
First was a written Test, which was evaluated.
Post that, I was made to wait for an hour on the live Video Call so that someone from China could interview me.
The interview went on for 45 minutes where I answered all the questions that were thrown at me!
After that, the interviewer (a Chinese Lady) told me that the person who is supposed to take my final round, will come in after 90 minutes. Therefore I need to log in the app after 90 minutes.
I logged in and waited for 15 minutes. No one joined in.
Then I get a call from an HR personnel who asks me why didn't I log in at the given time, I told her I did. But she refused to accept and told me login again after an hour.
I did, but no one from their side did.
I later followed up 4-5 times with the consultant and the interviewer through text messages but no one has bothered to reply.
This, after telling me that I have been shortlisted and only the salary negotiation was remaining.
Stay away from them, as mostly its a contractual offer.
