The process was fine, with friendly people other than the architect who was on one, to say the least. They clearly don't read your resume so if you don't have professional AI/ML experience you can save yourself some time.
Great first few calls with recruiters, but then the next positional interviewer spent 90% of our conversation asking questions about my current employer. It was strange and off-putting, especially given my company was not really in a competitive space with or against C3. I was then told there would be no additional interviews after that one, and in retrospect I’m glad for this as their personnel policies seem misaligned with the rest of the tech industry, and despite their promotional studies (which I had to study as part of their process) I’m not convinced their solution is something an above average team of data scientists couldn’t replicate on Azure or AWS or GCP. Good luck out there, C3.

Question 1
Anything and everything about my employer, almost nothing about myself
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at C3 AI (New York, NY) in May 2012
Interview
Recruiting was very well organized and I was kept up to date about status after each step. Office culture is collaborative and team-oriented. Advice: be prepared to discuss specific roles and professional accomplishments you have had in the past and why/how these experiences will enable you to contribute immediately to C3.
