I applied online. I interviewed at CARVANA in Sept 2023
Interview
In my opinion, they will have to change their tech screen. They try to do a custom screen in which they think they are testing your coding abilities and basic Stats/ML knowledge altogether, but that's not possible to do in 1 hour with the way they assert. If you happen to know what to expect, it's very straightforward as you just have to review your high-school and college math/stats beforehand and even memorize some of the formulas and python library/methods, but if it has been some time since you did any linear regression or wrote a softmax function from scratch, it is frustrating to remember and apply it in a 1 hour coderpad. They also agree/think that this makes it challenging, and still think this is a good way to measure someone's tech abilities, but I don't think so. I believe this results too many FN and FP within their candidates pool through the process.
