      Application

      I interviewed at CBRE

      Interview

Well, unfortunately I would describe my interview experience as negative to say the least. I applied online in December, was contacted by one of their recruiters in January and had a standard phone screen. By the end of January I had an interview with the team via Microsoft Teams, and was told I would hear from them regarding the next interview within a few days. Well, a few days go by and it’s radio silence. I decided to follow up with the initial recruiter, who then sent an email that obviously wasn’t meant for me (completely different names and talk of an offer which obviously did not apply to me). I asked for clarification, and was given an oopsie response, but was told I’m still a “top candidate” and to reach back out to a member on the team. Well, I did just that, except I received no response. After a week I reached back out to the recruiter once again explaining what was going on, and was told I’m still a “top candidate” and that she’ll reach out to the team directly. I reply and thank her, but then guess what? Days go by and I receive no update, however I went to check on the status of my application on CBRE’s candidate portal and the status had been changed from “interview” to “unsuccessful”. Ha! So that’s how I found out I didn’t get the job. It’s unfortunate, because I can’t help but feel like I was mislead, if not blatantly lied to about the status of things. I hope other people interviewing here don’t have to go through what I did, because I don’t think it’s fair or professional to lie to candidates about their chances.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CBRE (Halifax, NS) in Feb 2020

      Interview

First round phone interview. Interviewer was honest and caring and understood that the job did not meet my expectations. Suggested I apply for a more demanding and competitive role of Financial Analyst and forwarded my resume. Stayed in contact as Covid-19 shook up the hiring process

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at CBRE (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2015

      Interview

I was contacted by a CBRE recruiter from Denver. The recruiter arranged a phone interview with a Senior Manager in San Francisco. I had 2 phone interviews and then an in-person interview at their office. I spent two hours at their office and met 4 of their employees.
