I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC in Feb 2013
Interview
Went through my schools coop program and it was a 30min interview. Asked generic questions and questions based on my resume. Majority of the interview was behavioral based questions and then just 1 or 2 technical questions. Overall was a hard /easy interview. After the interview i was told i would get a response back by the following week.
Not to difficult asked basic interview questions you can google. Key thing is to have your behavioural questions on point. Once you get past that you can do well. Other than that be able to be technically profound

Interview
Telephone interview. First is the confirmation of the job content (what might be somewhat different then you would expect), and then they asked the most common question"tell me about yourself" and general questions about your experiences. Two scenario questions about your interpersonal skills, which were easy to answer if you had related experiences. No technical test part.
