I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2016
Interview
I got an email requesting time to schedule Phone Interview on Monday , on the agreed date and time HR took interview Tuesday it lasted 30 min, went well she asked my availability for Face-to-face Interview next day, So I had face-to-face interview next day taken by GM and branch manager went for about 1 hour, went well. They asked me to wait for feedback, I lost patience when I didn't receive any mail for next 7 days but finally received verbal communication of job offer on Friday last week, HR mentioned she will mail the required forms right away, its been 4 days still waiting for the same.
The anxiety is just very murderous.Dying to accept the offer once they make it.

Question 1
phone interview asks about your suitability, your past work experience, how well you understand your future role. The Face-to-face one is a bit tricky. My suggestion, never bluff and no amount of preparation can prepare you. So think and answer correctly or politely admit your ignorance. They test your attitude rather than your knowledge and how will go about things if given an option.
Quick and easy. Was smooth as I knew the manager ( met her at my previous job). Would recommend to apply on careers page. Good company to work for. Ueuej
Really quick. There wasn’t a lot of questions and I was contacted each week. It was quite short and they really needed people. Most of the questions were basic and focused on customer service rather than balancing.
Just asked to do the assessment task and failed me. This has been happening with the CIBC since 2 years despite getting interviews from other banks. I don't know what could be the problem.
