CTA Focus interview questions

The interview was promising. There was an ongoing process to recruit a contract specialist who had Polish language skills, but the interview with me regarded a collaboration due to my experience. The hiring manager told me that we will have a second meeting in 2 weeks. In the second week I tried to see when we can arrange a second meeting, I got a reply she is out of country. 2 weeks afterwards, I got a reply that they picked someone who is a Polish speaker, even though my interview had nothing to do with that position. I felt that I was being led on and kept as a backup, in case they couldn't find a Polish speaker.
