I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Calgary Economic Development (Calgary, AB) in Jun 2025
Interview
The first round was a virtual interview with an HR representative who kept their camera off throughout the meeting. At the end of our call, she mentioned they were looking to fill the role within five weeks and would follow up with feedback from the hiring team to let me know if I’d advanced to the in-person round.
A week passed with no update. I followed up multiple times during the process, often receiving no response. When I did get replies, she would commit to providing an update by a certain date but failed to follow through.
After three and a half weeks of inconsistent communication, I finally received a generic rejection email.

Interview
Pretty Standard - one round with CFO and HR and then with members of the team afterwards in a less formal meeting which seemed more of a meet and greet at that point.

Interview
I applied online and was contacted two weeks later to set up an interview. The interview was completed online, and the recruiter's camera was off. The recruiter was friendly.
I realized during the interview that I wasn't interested in the role, as it was different from what the posting described. It involved mostly administrative work for one person.
I received an email several weeks after the interview stating that someone else got the role.
