The interview process is quite well. Before the Interview process, when applying this position it required to install the apps and finished a few task (using the apps).
Like the normal interview, first, the HR reached out and the vetting process happened. Everything went pretty okay, and there was a take-home test to do with 3 days duration. In this case they gave 4 part:
1. Simple Linear Regression, given 5 rows and 2 column of data (year, sales), how to predict the next few period sales
2. Forecast (Linear Regression) using mtcars data (classic)
For the next 2 parts, they gave a .csv file and the test was to query and visualize to understand the data.
3. SQL Query
The SQL query parts, they gave you few questions to extracted the data.
4. Data Visualization using Looker.
And for the last part, It's not determined and limited what to analyze and visualize.
After that there are 2 more interviews,
1. with the head of HR and the CEO
2. with the product manager and the data analyst
Everything went well until the head of HR said that need more information to filled before made the contract offer letter.
After I filled in the information required, such as
1. the details of challenges completed before application (I mentioned it before),
2. Reference request
3. Salary information
4. Expected Take-Home Salary
5. Availability to start
they ghosted me for 2 weeks, they did not respond to my follow-up email and suddenly they rejected me.
I asked for feedback so that I could improve, but again there is no answer at all.
I mean if my current salary is out of the budget you can state from the very first time so that we do not waste our time doing the process. I believe we valued each other's time, especially in the professional environment.
