I felt my interview was very positive up until the point of receiving an offer. I was told the salary (not any of the benefits) and they were open for negotiation. When I countered, I was told that " a lot of people want this job and are more qualified than me and not getting paid as much as I am asking for." I felt like they were trying to guilt me for being honest about how I felt about the offer. A few days later, instead of counter offering me, they told me it "wasn't going to work out with the salary I want" which was a couple thousand more and pulled my initial offer. I have never experienced something like that before but it saved me a lot of time.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Cannasafe Analytics (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2019
Interview
This was the most unprofessional interview I have ever experienced. I was brought onsite for a four hour interview and was asked minimal technical questions, but received an incredibly low offer (after being stood up on two phone calls and having the third one start forty minutes late) because I “did not have enough technical experience” for a senior level position.
I was met on site in the morning, given a tour, chatted 1:1 with a recruiter before we went to lunch where I was shocked when one of the employees Instagram Storied the lunch on her personal account (without asking if I was okay with this) and this was twice re-done because someone else didn’t like their appearance in the video. When I got back on-site, I stared asking for a job description, because at this point, I had no idea what I was interviewing for. I didn’t receive this job description until a week after my interview. I also asked for a full benefits and compensation package and I was told that this would “be a lot of work and unless I was willing to accept the offer” it would be “a hassle” to put together all the paperwork. I was also asked “how much of a pay cut I would be willing to take” in order to join CannaSafe.
Overall, it seems like employees are very excited about cannabis, but a lot of technicalities still need to be ironed out. I expected a lot more out of the #1 Accredited Lab in California.
