I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at CapTech (Denver, CO) in May 2026
Interview
The entire process took about three weeks from start to finish and honestly felt nothing like a traditional interview process. Every person I spoke with was friendly, approachable, and genuinely curious about my background, it felt more like a series of conversations than an interrogation. The interview process has 3 rounds, first is the recruiter screen, second was with someone senior at the firm and last was the power day - mix of technical and behavioral interviews, 2 hours.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Behavioral questions were focused on specific projects and experiences on my resume, they really dig into the details so make sure you know your work inside and out. They asked about why CapTech specifically, so have a genuine answer ready. The case interview was a business technology problem where you're expected to propose a solution, there's no right answer, they're evaluating how you think and communicate.
I applied through university. I interviewed at CapTech (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2025
Interview
Phone call screening interview with recruiter, a behavioral and then two weeks later I had a technical where there were star questions and also just questions about my skills and what I knew regarding the criteria of the position and also explaining projects it was almost like an extended version of the first phone call
Swift and straight forward process. Everyone was very nice and overall not that difficult a process. Three rounds which included an initial phone screening, a technical interview, and 3 virtual interviews.
