Interview
I was interviewed by the Head of HR and was informed that the interview process was "vibes-based", which I found unconventional. During the discussion of my resume, some of my past career choices were questioned in a way that felt discouraging, and there was skepticism expressed regarding my stated skills and abilities. There were also comments made about my use of language during the interview, despite my communication remaining professional throughout. Additionally, a significant portion of the interview was spent on lengthy explanations of internal backend processes and personal anecdotes that were not directly related to the role. Overall, the interview experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional.
Zoom interview that lasted about 1-2 hrs. Was told I was interviewing for the above mentioned role but similar to previous OP, I had a feeling it was them finding people for FA because although they did not mention FA, but kept mentioning things like “oh so you do more backend stuff and not front facing?” “How did you liaise with the vendors? Face to face? Email? Over the phone? Text?”
Mentions that they’re looking for someone who can do xxx marketing stuff but I have no idea tbh. I interviewed at other first name last name organisations for marketing roles which turned out to be them finding FAs as well.
Advice all jobseekers searching for marketing roles to avoid any first name last name organisations or FA companies because there’s a 99% chance they’re looking for FA.

Interview
Interview was with one of the leaders in this organization. Lasted about an hour. Asked about experiences on resume and some questions to gauge your personality. While this was for a marketing role, I got the feeling that they were looking to hire financial advisors instead. Did not get any response afterwards.
