      Content Editor Interview

      5 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Chemist4u (London, England) in Dec 2025

      Interview

I was approached by a recruiter as my CV was a close match for the role. I had a first stage interview, then given a test. This is where the company and process gets a massive red flag - they as for a page edit and a brief for a new page. Despite providing a comprehensive page edit and a thoroughly researched and detailed brief, I was rejected for not “rewriting the page on the editing task”. There is a world of difference between rewriting and editing a page. This wreaks of getting job applicants to do free work for them, at a minimum it shows they are unable to set tasks with clear expectations, so I’d highly recommend people avoid them on this basis.

      Question 1

How would you edit a page - which went down well in interview, ironically.
