      Digital Marketing Interview

      13 Mar 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Phoenix, AZ
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ClassicCars.com (Phoenix, AZ) in Feb 2018

      Interview

My biggest mistake was not asking first for salary details before traveling way out to Awhatukee Foothills. It's REALLY far out there and almost nothing is nearby. First I was given a ridiculous Algebra test (very basic 9th grade level, about 10 questions) then I talked to the manager that had been there about 6 months. My takeaway from the interview was this is a company that has insanely high turnover and doesn't invest in its employees. Doesn't even have a 401(k) plan. Its just churn and burn. My advice if you want to get into a field like this and are good at it, go with a company that actually makes enough money to provide you a real career. You'd be better simply working at a car dealership.
