I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CloudPay
Interview
The recruiter called first to explain the overall steps of the interview process.
The first interview (90mins) was a technical round. The focus was on technologies mentioned in the JD and what you have used before, with a tiny bit of systems design.
Examples:
- Improving SQL query performance
- Frontend folder structure
- Kafka vs RabbitMQ
- ...
There was no LeetCode which was a really nice change, and the questions were overall very relevant to day to day work. There were a few hard questions but the interviewers also clarified that they were "bonus" questions. It ended with a Q&A session.
The second interview (~80mins) was mostly behavioural and discussed on your past experiences. It ended with a Q&A session too.
Overall, the interviewers were all very professional and I very much enjoyed the chats. The whole process was also really efficient from first interview to offer, concluding within < 2 weeks.
Looking forward to starting at CloudPay!
