I applied through other source. I interviewed at Conference Partners International
Interview
I applied for a Conference & Event Manager role that turned out to be a complete mystery. The company had no clear idea of what they wanted to hire, and ultimately, the role shifted to that of an Account Manager. The entire hiring process was a nightmare that spanned two months. It involved a grueling three-stage interview, where HR screening inexplicably took place after the first interview, leaving me confused about the process. I was given a task that felt like unpaid work, and the final interview with the CEO turned into a 1.5-hour interrogation rather than a meaningful conversation. Overall, this experience reflects a disorganized and unprofessional recruitment process that I would not recommend to anyone.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The final interview with the CEO felt more like an interrogation than a discussion. For 1.5 hours, I was grilled on every job I’d held, every career decision I’d made, and even my educational choices—as if I needed to justify my entire professional and academic history. The experience was exhausting and demeaning, leaving me with the impression that the company’s leadership was more interested in scrutinizing my past than in assessing my fit for the role.
